Not at all, both upright and recumbent bikes have a low step over and a wide path to make mounting and dismounting the bikes much easier than some of our competition.
What is the "Q" factor?
The"Q" factor is the distance between the pedals on the bike. The Hudson bikes have a narrower axel width than most exercise bikes on the market which for both home and commercial purposes is a superior design. The distance between the pedals if very important and many manufacturers forget this. With the slimmer axel design it is more comfortable for the rider to use the bike. This means you can ride longer which means better physical fitness and a more enjoyable workout experience.

This is great for anyone that has the ability to keep up with the unit. The second option is medical boot set; a post-op style boot is mounted directly to a standard pedal. This option allows for multiple straps over the top of the foot and a backing to prevent the heel from falling out.
How does the UBE Table work?
The UBE Table is a wheelchair accessible piece that securely mounts any of the Hudson UBE's to it for safe secure exercise. Two great features about the Table are, one it fits any UBE on the market whether or not it is a Hudson. Second the Table uses a linear actuator to easily adjust the height of the table. No more fiddling with the knobs and worrying about crushing your finger under the weight of the Table Top and UBE. A simple push of a button raises and lowers the UBE to the desired height.
